Through such a tremendous outpouring of community love and support, we have been able to support our local cancer patients and their families that are being treated at University of Virginia Medical Center and Virginia Commonwealth University Medical Center.
We have donated $1,500 to the UVA Medical Foundation to buy supplies for families who stay at the UVA Hospitality House.
We also gave $3,500 to ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation at VCU. This money was used to buy presents for patients and their families at the holidays as well as provide tuition money needed to send recovering adolescents and young adults to the Wilson Workhouse in Staunton for rehabilitation therapies.
