The SlyeStrong #6 Foundation held its first annual golf tournament, “A Stroke Against Leukemia,” on Friday, June 26, 2015. We first would like to thank Forrest Greens Golf Course in Triangle, Virginia for their outstanding service and support in hosting the event. We were so blessed to have such a wonderful show of community support: an impressive 32 teams!!! Approximately 130 golfers took to the course for the “Best Ball” 18-hole round in support of our scholarship and service projects fund. What a beautiful day…so much love and laughter! Thank you to all that participated!
We would also like to thank all of those people who worked behind the scenes to make this day a complete success! We could not have done this without you all! A VERY SPECIAL THANKS goes out to Joe Grebe for all his hard work, effort, and dedication in planning and executing the day’s events!
