For many of us, the holidays are a joyous time sharing food and gifts with family and friends. However, many in our local community are not as fortunate. So in the spirit of the holidays and our desire to give back to our community, the SlyeStrong#6 Foundation teamed up with the Department of Social Services and North Stafford High School Student Leadership to help provide for families for the holidays. For Thanksgiving, we were able to provide a family of 7 with a basket of food for their holiday meal. For Christmas, we were able to provide baskets for Christmas meals for two families (totaling of 11 people), as well as purchasing gifts for 4 children and their mother to open on Christmas morning. We feel fortunate to be able to help support our community in such a positive way. And, we would like to thank all of our supporters, who are so willing to give to others!
